This series of the next 6 large mosaics is for the June 2010 Open Studios in Jingletown, Oakland, CA. These are large and I am mingling high fire tile with glass. I like the juxtaposition of the hard earthy tiles with the more fluid and glittering glass. I am also experimenting with the strict lay pattern of a grid of tile next to the fluid intuitive strokes of the glass. On Easyboard.
