The Virgin of Guadalupe! She is on a wall in Oakland's Jingletown neighborhood as the first piece of a much larger upcoming art project: the Peterson Street Art Wall and Garden. This long wall is a magnet for gang graffiti and it is hoped that the image of the Virgin will keep the graffiti and gangs away.
She is 7' x 4' on a wall section that is 10' x 10'. I will be adding stars around her soon too.
